The Tim Britt Band is a Buffalo, New York–based Americana and roots-rock group led by singer, guitarist, and songwriter Tim Britt. Originally from Utica, NY, Britt formed the band in 2015 to expand his songwriting into a collaborative, groove-driven live format.
Drawing from blues, funk, soul, new wave, and folk influences, the band combines rhythmic arrangements with Britt’s storytelling approach to songwriting. The group performs a mix of original material and select reinterpretations of classic songs.
The Tim Britt Band has shared stages with artists including John Popper, Elephant Revival, TR3 featuring Tim Reynolds, The Arcs, Gin Blossoms, Tommy James, The Michigan Rattlers, Cooper Alan, and Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners.
Britt previously earned Buffalo Nightlife Magazine’s Best Original Solo Artist award three consecutive years (2012–2014) and Artvoice’s Best Acoustic Act (2015). He also won Shea’s Performing Arts Center’s “No City Without Music” competition in 2014.

In 2014 he won Shea’s Performing Arts Center’s “No City Without Music” competition.
